It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel David Graham (known to most
as “Sam”) on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024. Sam passed away peacefully at his home by the
river surrounded by loved ones.
Born August 19th, 1959 to parents Emilie Helen Graham and Samuel Robert Graham in
Brockville, Ontario, Sam filled his life with adventure. His memory will be cherished fondly for
his legacy as a commercial diver, submarine engineer and world traveler, his one-of-a-kind spirit,
and the profound love he had for his three children Shane, Lindsay, and Mallory.
Sam will be lovingly remembered by his partner Dorthy-Ann Horton, Aunt Wanda and Uncle
Richard Acton, his Godmother Vida (“Jimmy”) and Uncle Jim Hill, Grandson Cayson
MacDonald, the Caldwell family, and his chosen brothers Rod, Randy, and Ray Brewer and their
families.
We welcome family and friends to pay their respects and share stories of Sam at Irvine Funeral
Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, March 8th, 2024 from 2-5pm.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Saint Elizabeth Foundation (donate.sehc.com/donation-2/memorial-in-honour-donation
) would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
