Sam’ Dolores’ Obituary
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sam (Dolores) Ilona Le Sergent – Blanchette on November 18th, 2024, at the age of 58. Sam was born in Grand Forks, BC on January 24, 1966, to James and Bertha Joyce (Bunny) Le Sergent (nee Woolhether).
Sam was a loving mother, grandma, wife, aunt and sister. If raising two kids, and being a working farmers wife was not enough, she found herself pouring love into raising turkeys and laying chickens. She would often sell the eggs to friends and family, or make her “famous” deviled eggs.
Mom had a love for all things nature, the outdoors, birdwatching, and gardening. Her knowledge about flowers, insects and birds was marvelous. Sam enjoyed playing scrabble with her mom or those who dared to play with her. Mom had a small artistic flair, she loved to make flower baskets and dried floral arrangements.
Sam is survived by her husband Camille of 36 years, daughter Rose (Harrison), brother Gord (Lynn), and grand-daughters Miela and Eden. Sam was predeceased by her parents; brother; Larry Le Sergent, and son; Stephan Blanchette.
