Passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side. Born in Calabria, Italy. Predeceased by his parents Francesco Carito & Elizabeth Carito (nee Mercrurio). Cherished husband of Cynthia Stuckless-Carito. Devoted father of Jamie Stuckless, Albert Carito, David Carito, Michael Carito, Sammy Carito (Heidi), Sandra Poirier (Shadi) & Vanessa Mouriopoulos. Loving grandfather of Layla, Zara, Nevaeh, Noah, Anastazia, Tyler, Taigon. Salvatore will be missed by his siblings Mary (Vince), Vincenzina (Savino), Antonietta (Georgio). Predeceased by siblings Angela (survived by Nick), Joe (the Late Antoinetta) & Giovanni (the Late Ninna). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
In keeping with Salvatore’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay, Ontario) on December 28, 2024 between the hours of 1PM – 3PM with formal speeches starting at 2PM.
Donations in memory of Salvatore can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
