It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth on Friday, January 12, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Cindy and Shane Landsman, Harold and Hildy Schneider, and Lawrence Schneider. Adored Bubz of Lindsay and Mitch Fialkov, and Noah Landsman; Bradley Schneider, Chloe and Andrew Murray, Hayley and Austin Auletta. Proud great-grandmother of Chase Murray. Loving sister and sister-in-law of Moishe and Evelynne Belinsky, Mickey and Jackie Belinsky; and sister-in-law of Sandra and the late Gerald Schneider, and the late Miriam Schneider. Ruth will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 14 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Protective Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her daughter’s home ending Thursday evening, January 18. Donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Israel emergency Fund c/o Federation CJA, (514) 345-2645 ext. 2600.
