Ruth is lovingly remembered by her children, David Barnett (Janine), Valerie Barnett, Kevin Barnett (Shelley), and Lisa Barnett (Darby), along with her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her in their hearts.
While born and raised on a family farm in Malden, Ontario, Ruth was a city girl at heart. She spent most of her adult life in Windsor working as a switchboard operator. She enjoyed being involved in her church, attending the theatre, going out for lunch, and window shopping at the mall. She was known for her impeccable style and quiet elegance.
As a devoted wife and mother, Ruth enriched the lives of those closest to her with her warmth and compassion. She was admired for her unwavering calm and acceptance. Her presence brought a sense of grounding, offering comfort and stability to those around her. Ruth’s caring, non-judgmental nature made her a cherished figure in the lives of her family.
