Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Rosemary Horton. Rosemary
passed peacefully away in Houston surrounded by her beloved family. It is with great honor that
we bring her back home to be laid to rest with her parents, Hubert and Marie Dinn, and brothers
Gerry and Danny, who preceded her in death.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her children: Tina Horton (Houston), Chery Horton
(Houston), Brian & Katie Horton (Magnolia, TX); grandchildren Brendan, Zachary & Stephen
Rodnicki; Brianna Horton; Jacob, Matthew, Alyssa and Joshua Horton. Siblings: Elaine & Ed
Ryan and Donna Power, Mt. Pearl. Nieces & Nephews: Daniel Ryan, Jason, Ashley Power &
Julia Jubix.
Rosemary grew up in St. John’s, then married and lived in Texas for over 50 years. She raised
her family and lovingly cared for Lawson, Cal, Kasey in her lifetime. She was gentle in spirit,
always had a smile for those that she met and loved coming home to Newfoundland every year.
Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever live in our memories and
may her love continue to guide us. She will be deeply missed by all that loved her.
Inurnment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Monday, July 8th at 11:30 a.m. Services
will be held by Fr. Wayne Dohey, Our Lady, Queen of Families Parish, Mt. Pearl
