Shular, Rose, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Chapman House in Owen Sound. Rose Mary Shular (nee Pendergast) of Southampton at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late William Kenneth Beverly Shular. Loving mother to Ken (Sharon) and Kevin (Joanne). Proud grandmother of Kenny (Kim), the late Jason, Rachel (Peter), Maegan (Scott), and John and Corey (Amy). GG will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, Michael, William, Aiden, Harper, Peyten, Hannah, Camryn, Carter, and Leigha.
Survived by her siblings, Donelda, Jack (Louise), Doug (Donna), Muriel (Bun) and her sister-in-law Anita. Rose will also be sadly missed by her dear friend Ron Little and good friend of over 60 years Verna Thede.
Predeceased by her parents Alex & Mary, brother Lawrence, sisters Edith and Jean and her husband, George, sister-in-law Ruby and brother-in-law Jerry.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Rose Shular will be held in the chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1 PM. Spring interment at Southampton Cemetery.
A social gathering will follow the service on Friday at the Southampton Legion from 2:30 to 5:30p.m. You are welcome to attend both or one or the other gatherings.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
