It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald «Ronnie» Kemp of Alexandria at the Palace Long Term Care on August 31, 2024; age 84 years. He is survived by his loving companion Jean Chenier, his cherished children Timmy Kemp of Canmore, AB and Debbie Sauvé (Marc) of Apple Hill, ON. Ronnie will also be missed by his loving siblings Susan MacPherson (Donald) of Alexandria, Robert (Heather) of Alexandria, Donna Kelly (Patrick) of St. Elmo and Cindy MacPherson (Gary) of Alexandria. He will also be missed by his wonderful god-child Kelly MacPherson. In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be at St. Finnan’s Basilica, 70 St. Paul St. in Alexandria on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00am with the interment of ashes taking place immediately following mass in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro and Morris Funeral Homes, 114 Main St. S, Alexandria, ON, (613)525-2772.
