Passed away on June 6, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73. Cherished father of Ronnie (Shelley) McLean and Cindy (Kurt) Curtis. Loving grandpa of Michael (Lauren) McLean, Erika (Chris) Curtis, Johnathan McLean and Ben (Hannah) Curtis. Dear brother of Joan (Gary) Klingbyle, Sharon (Larry) Mills, Joyce (Bill) Hunter, Lori (Frank) Roberts and Jackie (Tom) Weir. Also remembered by his furry sidekick Molly, many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a dedicated employee working at Urban Heating and Cooling for most of his career. He enjoyed driving the countryside in his truck. He was most proud of his grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life. He welcomed anyone into his garage for a visit and great conversation. Our family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Met Campus ICU for their compassion and care. Memorial Donations may be made to the Downtown Mission.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 12, 2024 from 2:00-4:00p.m and 6:00 – 8:00p.m. at Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es . A service to celebrate Ron’s life will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 at 11:00a.m. at Kennedy Funeral Home. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
