Ron passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville. Ron was predeceased by Janet, his loving wife of 40 years, in November 2023. Dedicated and caring father of Harrison, Emily and Jordan (Bex). Dear brother of Ken (Shirley), Paul (Deb & daughters), Nancy and Andrew (Shari) and uncle to Sydney. Remembered loving by extended family Beth and daughters Brenna and Delaney. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Donna Banks of Bracebridge. Lovingly remembered by Janet’s brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Janet’s parents Edgar and Noreen Doherty.
Ron will be remembered as a dedicated family man with a very big heart. He was also a man of deep integrity. Ron demonstrated his lifelong faith through his service at church and had strong morals and principles that he lived by daily. He took great pride in his home and always had an improvement project on the go. Ron was hardworking and energetic and also had a calm and gentle nature which will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held at Compass Community Church,246289 Hockley Rd., Mono on Thursday April 25th, 2024 at 11:00 am. with reception to follow.

A tree will be planted in memory of Ronald in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
