Ronald James Auger
Passed away peacefully at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton, Ontario on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in his 76th year.
Loving father of Michael John (Valeria) Auger of Thornhill, Jocelyn Marie (Jason) Auger of Chepstow, and Janine Nicole (Jason) Stanlick of Fergus. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Sophia, Téa, Isabella and Benjamin. Dear brother of Maryanne (Ray) Borne.
Much loved uncle to Karen, Kelly, Trish, Erin and Sean. Fondly remembered by friends and extended family.
Predeceased by his parents Donald and Mary Auger (née Rosene), sister Bernadette Dolan, and nephew Kenny Borne.
Visitation will be held at Eagleson Funeral Home, 234 Palmerston Street in Southampton on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4-7PM with Vigil prayers at 4PM. A funeral service will take place at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 36 Albert Street South in Southampton on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1PM. Following the service, guests are invited to gather at The Walker House,146 High Street in Southampton, for fellowship and refreshments.
The family will attend a private interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Trenton on Monday, November 20, 2023.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and are greatly appreciated by his family.
