Peacefully, in Bradenton, Florida, on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of eighty-five. Son of the late Julius and the late Maisie Adelson, Ronnie was born and raised in Montreal and spent the past forty-five years living in Bradenton. He was deeply loved by his devoted children and their spouses, Rob Adelson, Lianne Adelson and David Robitaille, Robyn Adelson and Rob Weinberg. He was admired and beloved by his grandchildren, Jake, Jessica and Ben Adelson; Matthew Robitaille; Ava and Zach Weinberg. He was the cherished big brother and brother-in-law of Phyllis and the late Ian Karper, Sheldon and Marlene Adelson, and adored Uncle Ronnie to their families. He remained a life-long close friend of the late Andrea Feldman and enjoyed a beautiful relationship with Marina Skurupijs for nearly twenty years. Countless cousins and friends will undoubtedly remember the fun and special moments they spent with Ronnie. Ronnie was well known throughout his life as being a lover of good times and good company and never met a couch that wasn’t fit for a nap. Large events or small get-togethers were always better with him there. He did not need much to make him happy. A perfect day could include a game of tennis or golf, a foot massage and a bowl of soup. He had a great sense of humour and a witty quip either delivered or heard by Ronnie unleashed his trademark grin. If out for a meal, he could usually be counted on to order most of the left side of the menu, followed by the right. His later years were marked by numerous medical challenges which he handled with almost unimaginable courage and positivity. Stories told by and about Ronnie will be remembered and repeated by those who loved him, forever. A special thank you to Dr. John Shelton, Ted Rogers, Dr. E.J.
