Peacefully in Brockville at St. Lawrence Lodge on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Verla Bernicky, his brother Kevin and his nephew Scott. Survived by his siblings Sharon (Roger), Ron (Linda), Patty (Mark), and Susan (Layne). Forever missed by his cousins Al, Rick, Barry, Danny, Leonard, Paul and Brian. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Karrie (Stephanie), Chris (Crystal), Andrew, Stuart (Melissa), Lucas (Christina), Mathew (Krista), Tyler, Jordan, and Nicholas. Fondly remembered by his Aunt Paula Clark, Aunt Joy Bernicky, Aunt Dorothy Bernicky, Aunt Margaret Sadler, Aunt Ruth Fleming, extended family and friends.
Roger was well known for his cooking as he was a military trained cook. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and most of all spending time and making memories at Bob’s Lake with Paul, Angie, Jeff, Joe and Nick.
A special «Thank You» to the entire staff at St. Lawrence Lodge and to the doctors and nurses at the Brockville General Hospital for their care and compassion over the years.
As per Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
