May 22, 1959 – May 27, 2024
It’s with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roger William Siemon of Brodhagen in his 66th year. He fought a long and courageous battle and passed with his loved ones at his side. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend. Roger has been a successful entrepreneur his entire life doing what he loved, where he loved to be. He was a master woodworker and signmaker, whose career started in 1981 just down from where his house and shop are today. In 1987, he became a very proud father to his son James and in 2007 he married the love of his life Jacqueline. With that union he added another son, Jason to his family. He is well known amongst his family, friends and community as the person you went to when you needed advice, guidance or just needed to vent. He would always «percolate» on the conversation to help you the best he could, even if sometimes that help included some harsh sarcasm. He was a wonderful person who touched the lives of anyone who had the privilege of getting to know him.
He will be forever remembered by his beloved wife Jaqueline Siemon, his son James and Jenna and his step-son Jason and Jess. He was a proud grandfather to Carter, Cohen and Caden and wonderful «Bonka» to Kaylee. Loving son of Shirley Siemon and the late Roy Siemon. Dear brother of Sheila Peluso and the late Benny Peluso, Robert Siemon, Gayle Siemon-Ahrens and Hugh and the late Barry Siemon. Dear brother-in-law of Valerie Siemon. He cared deeply for his many nieces and nephews including the late Darryl Siemon. He will never be forgotten by the Pienta family of whom he was predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law.
Private family arrangements entrusted to the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell. Memorial donations in Roger’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brodhagen would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
The family would like to give a special «Thank You» to all those at the Stratford and London hospitals for their care and compassion during Roger’s journey.
