1942-2024
Following a lengthy illness, Roger «Bie» Clavette of New
Denmark, NB, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 11,
2024.
Roger was born in Ste-Anne-de-Madawaska, NB, on March 4, 1942. He was
the son of the late Albert and Emilie (Martin) Clavette. Roger leaves
behind his wife, Linda Clavette (Beaulieu); his daughters, Rachel
Levesque (Tewell) of Illinois, Lynne Blanchette (Marcel Lagacé)
of Riley Brook, NB, Marie-Andrée Clavette of New Denmark, NB; his
son, Mario Levesque (Thérèse Beaulieu) of Grand Falls, NB;
his grandchildren, Jonathan, Megan, Charles, Bruno, Darrel, and Tyson;
his great grandchildren, Everest and Cash; his brothers, Donald
Clavette (Yolande) of Grand Falls, NB, Réal Clavette (Helen) of
Ottawa, ON, and Lionel «Pit» Clavette (Nadine) of Ottawa,
ON; along with several nieces and nephews.
Roger was predeceased by his parents; his son, Marc-André
Clavette; his sisters, Fernande Caron and Georgette Godin; his
brothers, Clairmont and Eddie Clavette.
Respecting Roger’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
held. A private graveside service will be held at St-Michel Catholic
Cemetery in Drummond, NB.
For those who wish, a memorial donation to a local food bank would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
