At York Care Center on April 18th,
2024, Mr. Roderick Cogswell of Fredericton passed away at the age of
86. Born in Five Islands Nova Scotia, he was a son of the
late Fred and Elizabeth (Atkinson) Cogswell.
Roderick enjoyed playing cards and darts. Before
his retirement he was an avid woodsman, mastering the chainsaw as an
extension of his body. He then worked as a carpenter for
majestic builders.
He is survived by his son Wayne Cogswell, nephew Peter
Cogswell, sister Joan, as well as several cousins’ nieces
and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Fred Jr.,
Ron, Clair and Don.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Saturday April
20th, 2024, from 1-2 PM at which time a
celebration of life will be held.
