The family of Bob Terry are sad to
announce his passing on December 24.
He is
survived by his wife of 62 years, Georgina (Sullivan), son James
(Karen), Diane (Chris), and granddaughters Evangeline and Catherine,
and honourary daughter Leah Strowbridge.
Bob
was born in London, England and arrived in Canada on October 8, 1959.
He joined the Canadian Army and served in Africa, Egypt, Cypress, and
twice in Alert. He was a member of Com Research and Signal Corps. The
family was posted to Gagetown, Kingston, Ottawa, Inuvik, Gander,
Petawawa, and Yellowknife.
Bob was an avid
reader, chess player, and kept up to date with newspapers all around
the world on his computer.
Thank you for the
excellent care and sense of community he received at the
Veteran’s Health Unit. The treatments he received at True
North Therapy were crucial in helping him recover from complex
PTSD.
There will be no visitation or funeral as
Bob requested.
