1951-2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Nicholas Everard, born on November 14, 1951, to his parents Harry Everard and Margaret Everard (née Melnyk). Robert’s journey in this world ended peacefully on February 23, 2024.
Preceding him in death were his beloved wife Louise Everard (née Bertrand), his brothers Donald Everard and Murray Everard, as well as his sister Darlene Sherlock (née Everard). Robert will be deeply missed and remembered as a cherished father by his daughter Lisa Everard-Youngblut (Edward) and son Jamie Everard (Lesley). He was a pillar of strength and support for his family. In the hearts of his loved ones, Robert remains a beloved brother to Linda Bertrand (Marcel) and Sharon Bilodeau (Edward). As a loving Papa, Robert leaves behind Jesika Walker (Arthur), Meghan Walker (Kent), Lauren Youngblut (Leonard), Brock Everard (Kimberley), and Brandon Meunier (Cailey), who cherished his presence. His legacy continues through his great-grandson Everett Braaten. He is also survived by his companion Carmen Plouffe, her daughter Cristal Plouffe (Dan), and her grandchildren Hayden Demers and Kane Courchesne. Robert shared many special moments with them. Robert also leaves behind his best friend Réne Labelle, his beloved dog Sandy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Robert dedicated himself to his job as the mall manager of the Porcupine Mall. His commitment and professionalism touched the lives of many.
In celebrating Robert’s life, let us remember his kindness, his quiet strength, and the love he shared with all who knew him. The family will receive friends and family from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (150 Balsam St. S. Timmins, ON). A memorial service will follow at 1p.m. in the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada in Robert’s memory would be appreciated.
