Born June 8th 1972, passed away unexpectedly on September 13th 2024 at the untimely age of 52.
Loving spouse to Stephanie D’Angelo, Wonderful father to Lola, Olivia, and Leo. Cherished brother to Debbie (Dan) Docherty. Brother-in-law to Christina (Greg), and Adam (Payge). Beloved Uncle to Rick (Michelle), Chris (Cristina), Corey (Nicole), Kyle, Aiden, Emmet, and Finn. Kindred Spirit and Chosen brother to Justin.
Rob has been reunited with his parents Calisto (2012) and Pia (2016) Lenarduzzi, and his brother Edward (2022). He will be greatly remembered by his many friends, aunts, cousins, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Rob worked as a registered nurse for over 25 years, his infectious humour and natural bed-side manner put patients at ease and generated comfort during moments of fear. He had a natural warmth and a knack for focusing on the positive side of others, embracing them without judgment.
Rob’s greatest joy in life was his children, and sharing all of his interests with them.
He loved gardening, comics, art, and vintage Japanese robots, but unquestionably, everyone that met Rob knew his biggest passion was music. Particularly making electronic music. He released multiple records over the years, and was ecstatic to see the recent re-release of his 1994 classic “Get House” gaining audience with an entirely new generation. He was always happy to share his knowledge and have creative collaborations.
Rob’s soul was a light, he was a unique character who did things his way, and it was impossible not to love him.
On Wednesday, September 18th Visitation will be held from 1-3pm and 5-8pm at Families First – East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S 3M8, 519 969 5841). A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday September 19th, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Rd E, Windsor, ON N8X 3H8) at 11am. Cremation to follow.
