Robert Jerome Keefe
– age 61, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Little Dover, he was a
son of the late Gabriel and Evelyn (Bouchie) Keefe.
Robert worked for a
time at Canso Fish Plant and Oxford Frozen Foods. He was a quiet and
kind person, who was devoted to his small group of close friends and
family. He enjoyed a good chat and loved good music.
Robert is survived by
his daughters, Melissa (Kris) Muir, Antigonish; and Shawna (Corey)
Butt, Canning and their mother, MaryAnn Keefe (Robert Lynk); siblings,
Corrine (Barry) Avery, Kenny (Sherry) Keefe, Annette (Greg)
Mitchelitis and Darrell (Norma) Keefe; and grandchildren, Alexandra,
Oliver and Hailey.
In addition to his
parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Yvonne
«Bonnie» Young.
The family would like
to extend their sincere thanks of appreciation to the Valley Regional
Hospital for the care and compassion that Robert received. Your
determination and support will not be forgotten.
Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A
Celebration of Robert’s life will take place at a later
date. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital
Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
