Robert Francis Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father Robert John Francis, on Sunday March 3 at the Brightshores Hospital Owen Sound. He passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 96.
He was preceded by his wife Joan Ellen Francis (Hamilton), Dr. Michael Francis of Orillia, and Susan Kerschel of Newmarket.
Survived by John Francis and Cathy Gorin of Owen Sound, Paul Francis and Joanne Raymond-Francis of Toronto, Peter and Peggy Francis of London, and Cathy and Michael.
Sadly missed by Grandchildren Amanda Leblanc (Jeremy) of Picton, Brandon Francis (Karthika) of Toronto, Ben Shaddock of Georgetown, Christian Francis (Katie) of Toronto, Stephane Francis (Danielle) of Toronto, Lauren Francis of London, and Peter and Lilly.
Great grandfather to Ryker, Tyfin, Dutch, Hailey and Harlow.
Robert was the long-time proprietor of Parkers Pharmacy Owen Sound, and was heavily involved with St. Mary’s Parish Church.
In lieu of flowers a gift to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
