Robert John Webdale passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on July 31st, 2023 in his 83rd year. Bob is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 63 years, Ann (nee McDougall). Bob is the son of the late Robert and Muriel Webdale.
He is the devoted and loving father to Tammy Davis (Mark), James Webdale SR (Kim), Linda Crough (Michael), Lisa Evans (Mark (deceased)), Cathy Webdale (Garet), Kerry Legault (Kevin), and Andrea Legault (Shawn).
Loving and cherished Papa to Scott (Dana), Alexander (Jennifer), Jonathan (Brittany), Jim JR, Connor, Breanne, Micheline (Bob), Lindsey (Will), Matthew (Emily), Taylor, Turner (Samantha), Troy (Chelsea), Kelsey (Dave), Kooper, Darien, Paul, and Owen.
Loving Great Papa and treat supplier to Maeve, Drew, Vivian, Brock, Roy, Emmett, Boden, Kye, Antonio, Jordan, Georgia, Brooks, Rhys, Noa, Ander, Sage and another fella we are waiting to meet.
Cherished brother of Margaret Ray, Malcolm Webdale and Neil Webdale.
Predeceased by his loving Mother-in-law Violet McDougall.
Dear Brother-in-law to Bud McDougall (deceased) (Marion), Patricia Clancy (Bernard deceased) and Bob and Mary Curtis (both deceased).
Loved Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Long time employee of General Electric.
Long time member of the Triple P Hunt Club where he loved the company of his friends who shared the love of hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and ATVing.
As per Dad’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private immediate family gathering will take place at a later date.
The Webdale family are very appreciative of the care received from the medical staff at Toronto Western and PRHC Hospitals (specifically the ER, Stroke and Palliative units).
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Dad, donations to Five Counties Children Centre or to PRHC would be appreciated.
Dad will be remembered as an exceptional and loving father, husband, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful friend. He was fun, social, and outgoing by nature. He loved conversation and friendly debate.
Rest in peace, you’ll be forever in our hearts.
