Obituary of Rick Ysebert
In sadness we share that in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family, Rick Ysebert left this world on September 24, 2024 at the age of 69.
Rick, loving husband of Mary for 49 years, proud father of Scott (Andrea), Chris (Amanda Gallant-Turner), and Michelle (James) Agudo and adoring grandfather to Edie, Ollie, and Finn. Survived by his sisters Lori Ysebert and Jackie (Jim) Butler. Predeceased by his father Maurice Ysebert (1996), mother Mary Ysebert (2007), brother Gary Ysebert (2014), nephew Jeff Ysebert (2015), and niece Nikki Butler (2015). Lovingly remembered by his brother and sister in-laws of the Thuss family, and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and all who had the pleasure to know him.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 30th, 2024 at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, 10:30 a.m. with Father Thom Blondin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. A reception will follow immediately after mass in the church hall.
In honour of Rick’s memory, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Victoria Order of Nurses (VON) and/or the The Verspeeten Cancer Center in London, who provided generous and compassionate care. Your generosity will help support the fight against cancer and bring hope to those affected.
