Obituary of Rick Miller
Peacefully at home, with his wife by his side, Rick Miller passed away on March 7th, 2024, at the age of 68, while watching his Maple Leaf’s and Blue Jays. Loving husband to Pansy Miller, father to Jarrett Miller, Special Stepdad to Tyson (Cheryl), Kurt, and Eric Kettler (2020), Papa to Tyler, Teresa, and Emmy Kettler, and Ella. Son in law to Nelly Kellestine. Predeceased by his Mother, Marjorie Cushman Miller (2000). Rick was a kind hearted, dedicated, and hard working man who loved his sports as much as he loved life. He was a man of pride, honour and was well respected by his many friends and family members. Rick was a fun loving man, with a wonderful sense of humour, who loved cooking, music, dancing, trains, entertaining, and gatherings with friends and family. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will take place on March 24th, 2024, at Denning’s of Strathroy from 12pm-2pm, until the time of service at 2pm. A livestream of the service can be viewed on our website.
Cremation will follow with an interment to take place at Strathroy Cemetery on June 5th, 2024 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkhill Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 341, or to a charity of choice.
