Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial on Sunday, May 5, 2024, Richard Butler of Carbonear, formerly of Bristol’s Hope, age 87 years.
Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Sadie Butler; brothers: Thomas, Jim (Katheen), and Patrick (Dorothy).
Leaving to mourn, nieces: Bernadette, Lori, Joanne, Kayla and their families; nephews: Brian, Michael, Chris, Jimmy and their families; special family friends: Edith Griffin and Jessie Murray and their families; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, May 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Richard Butler Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Homes.
