Obituary of Richard Morgan
With broken hearts, the family of Richard Charles Morgan announce his sudden passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 11, 2024, at the age of 65. Born July 16, 1959, in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Beverleigh (Shanks) and the late Charles Morgan.
Richard will be missed by his children Kevin Morgan of Fredericton, NB, Crystal Morgan of Fredericton, Tony Morgan (Stacey) of Lower Millstream, NB; siblings Brent Morgan (Lucrecia) of Calgary, AB, and Shelley Hache (Jean Pierre) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Isabella Muir, Zayden Morgan, Cassianna Morgan, and Jesse Morgan. Richard was predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth “Dee Dee”, his father Charles Morgan, and brother Timothy Morgan.
Richard spent his younger years traveling Canada until he met his wife Elizabeth and started a family. He worked for many years at the Norton sawmill where he was known for being hard-working and dedicated. Richard was a great father, instilling his values in the children teaching them to work hard for what they want and also teaching them family is most important. He took them on many great adventures exploring the outdoors on fishing and camping trips. Richard was always great with repairs he loved tinkering on things. In his later years Richard spent his time taking care of his parents and even took up baking.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street (506-832-5541), Hampton, NB, reidsfh.com. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2:00 at the Barnesville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1073 Route 820, Barnesville NB.
