Obituary of Richard Cruickshank
Passed away at the age of 71 with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Debbie (nee Mogg). Proud father to David (Lora) and Scott (Michelle). Caring grandpa to Noah, Mia, and Jeremiah. Brother to Mina Cruickshank, the late Peter (Beatrice), Gordon (Patricia), Linda Lusignan (the late George), Danny (Rose), Paul (Susan), and Judy Liscio (Rocco). Richard is predeceased by his parents Peter and Mildred. He will deeply missed by his extended family and friends.
Richard retired from Ford Motor Company after many years of service. He loved his family and friends, including his dog Cleo. He had a passion for travel, taking many trips with his wife Debbie and creating many fond memories.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Richard’s friends and neighbors who cared for him during his battle with cancer, in particular Michelle Cooper and DJ Teaney. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Dr Y. Emara Centre for their compassionate care.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234) on Wednesday September 25th 2024 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Cremation to follow.
