Richard «Rick» Nadeau
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden death at the Sudbury Health Sciences North Hospital on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of Doris Nadeau (née Melanson). Dear brother of Claire Nadeau (Bill Sanders) and Victor Nadeau (Lucille). Richard will be sadly missed by his stepsons Kevin (Aliane) and Marc (Samantha) who loved him like a father, his grandchildren Kayla, Chloe, Abigail, Brianna, Tyler, Candice, Xavier and his 4 great grandchildren. He leaves behind Lynne, Marissa and Natasha. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Edward Melanson, many nieces and nephews, friends and his work family of over 40 years at Mascioli Construction as well as his very good, longtime friend, John Grydsuk.
Richard is predeceased by his parents Adelard and Victoire Nadeau, his siblings Adelard, Liane, Denis and Ginette (late Clement), his parents-in-law Ovila and Helene Melanson and his brothers-in-law Daniel and Robert Melanson.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at his camp, he was also very passionate about fishing.
Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements are entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
