It is with profound sadness, after a hard fought battle of tremendous courage and strength, that we announce the passing of Richard (Rick) Phillip Joseph John Simons, on July 1st 2024.
Born on February 19th 1966 to parents Richard (Barb 2023) Simons and Donna and Ron Sitarz. Cherished Son-in-Law Pauline St.Louis (Bernard 2016). Forever loved and cherished by his wife Carrie (St-Louis) Simons. Adored father to Richard (Ricky) (Kristi), Andrew (Megan), Matthew (Emily), and Cameron (Harmonie). Proud Pop Pop (Grandpa) to Hendrix, Beatrix, Lydia, and Weston. Beloved brother to Chris (Andrea), Tammy (Cruze), Scott (Hali). Beloved brother-in-law to Carole (JP), Cindy (Ken), Christine (Pat), Cathie (John), Bernard (Rosa). Rick deeply cared for all of his nieces and nephews Erik, Jenna, Julie Kaelyn, Nicholas, Quinn, Blair, David (2016), Jessica (Jake), Darren (Kerra), Olivia, Curtis (Maggie), Jacob (Ally), Jillianne (Jake), Elise, Noah (Kat), Lauren, Natalie, Zoe, and Joseph.
He will be missed by his dog Budsy who he always had a treat ready for.
Rick forever enjoyed his sports, he played football as a Fratmen from 86-88, he bowled in his Friday night bowling league, loved baseball, golf, and just about any other game. His whole life he loved working out at the gym. He had such a pleasure hosting his fireworks displays for family and friends. Rick had numerous friends and people he knew in his life. Nothing but kind words and compliments from all who knew him. Rick definitely touched the lives of many and he will be deeply missed.
