On Tuesday, November 29, 2023, Rheal has taken his last step dance to be with the Lord and his late family members Roger Gauthier (Cathy) Raymond Gauthier, Germain MagLoughlin (Bill) and Parents Phillipe Gauthier and Rosina (nee Joron) Gauthier. He leaves behind his loving sisters Marguerite Shannon (Pat) and Lorraine Gauthier (Ken) and many nieces and nephews. Rheal was a man of few words but if you looked into his deep blue eyes, you knew he had a million thoughts. Despite his challenges, Rheal lead an active life serving his community as a volunteer with the Salvation Army and an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a faithful man who attended Sunday services at his community churches. Those who didn’t know him would recognize the man riding many miles on his bicycle throughout the community and beyond. His love for music and step dancing gave him joy and purpose regardless of judgement. Despite Rheal unique abilities he always persevered without complaints. May he be an example to all! Rheal lived independently in his own way with the support of many community services. We thank all of those who supported him. As he journeyed into his final destination at Cassellholme, the family would like to acknowledge the wonderful caring staff and Doctor Prins and Doctor Fricker. We are forever grateful. Rest now our dear son, brother, uncle, and friend. The Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday December 4, 2023, between the hours of 11 am to 12 pm followed by a celebration of life in the McGuinty Funeral Home chapel at 12 pm.
