Fr. Conway was kind, compassionate, supportive and helpful in many ways. He was really down-to-earth and one could share just about anything with him. He was also opinionated and quite willing to state his views. He paid much attention to details and was meticulous when carrying out his duties, especially when it came to finances. He was an accomplished musician – played piano, organ and guitar and enjoyed singing as well. He had a great sense of humour and enjoyed sharing jokes and anecdotes with his email followers. He will be remembered for his favourite attire – cowboy boots, stetson and bolo tie. Apparently he rode a horse once in his life; at least he had his picture taken on a horse.
