It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Renée Hanifan (nee Parent).
Loving wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend, she died surrounded by her family’s love on July 9, 2024 at the age of 57 years. Beloved wife of David for 27 years. Outstanding mom to Lindsay, Alex and her canine companion Shiloh.
Dearest sister to Rosalie Speal (Dan), and the late Rosaire Parent (2018) (Rebecca). Loved daughter in law of Ted & Eileen Hanifan. Dear sister in law to Shari Clarke (Vern) and the late Michael Hanifan (2005) (Denise Miliron). Well loved aunt to Daniel, Diana, Brandon, Christopher, Tatum, Tiara and Tirene.
Predeceased by her parents Rosaire (1998) and Genevieve (1993).
Renée worked at Windsor Regional Hospital for 35 years as an admitting clerk which led to many lifelong friendships among her co-workers.
A very special thank you to the team at St. Elizabeth’s as well as the Dr.’s and nurses who have been a part of Renée’s care team.
Donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
Visiting will be held on Monday from 1-3 pm & 5 pm until the time of service at 7 pm at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Cremation to follow.
