It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Remi Lalonde. Remi passed away peacefully in Sturgeon Falls on Saturday January 13, 2024 at the age of 86 years. Son of the late Toussaint and Anna (née Coursol) Lalonde. Loving father of Raymond Lalonde (Lisa), Liliane Lalonde Seguin (Harold), and Liette Ranger (Doug). Proud grandfather of Dylan Lalonde (Camille), Eric Seguin, Emma Seguin, Brayden Seguin, and Ashley Young (Justin). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Milynn Dure (mother of Dylan) as well as by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dear brother of Rene Lalonde, Helene Quesnel (Francois), Ida Quesnel (Bert), Armand Lalonde (Betty), and Diane Robidoux (Allain). Predeceased by his siblings Aurel, Lionel, Doris Lalonde, Lucielle Lemieux, Rosalie Bedard, and Lina Dupre. Also predeceased by Irene who was the mother of Ray, Liliane, and Liette. Remi was a kind man who will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Au Chateau for the wonderful care that Remi received as well as the traditional goodbye the staff gave him when he passed away. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
