Obituary of Raymond Fournier
We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Raymond on Saturday June 3, 2023, at the age of 52. Cherished son of Barbara (Spieght) and Gaston Fournier. Dear brother of Edward Fournier and Deanna Lafleur (Marc). Raymond will be missed by his nephew Cody. Also survived by his aunt and uncle Donna and Fred Speight and many cousins.
Raymond was a founding member of the Hope and Recovery AA group. He enjoyed watching hockey and Nascar racing. He loved listening to Ozzy Osborne during his free time. He was a proud member of St. Kevin’s church in Welland.
The family would like to thank the paramedics and firemen for their efforts in trying to save Raymond.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main St., Welland on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Mental Health Association in Raymond’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
