Beauchamp, Raymond (1937-2023)
The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to Jacqueline Beauchamp (nee Perrier). Loving father of Louise, Marc, Jean-Paul, Norman (Roslyn) and Raymond (Marie). Cherished grandfather of Jacynthe, Michel, Jessi and Nicole, and great grandfather of Bailey and Kennedy. Dear brother of Jean Beauchamp (Diane), Cecile Jodouin (late Leonard), Edna Kingsbury (late George) and Anne Stevenson (Allan). Also left to mourn are his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jane and Edouard Beauchamp, and his two sisters Jacqueline Girard (Richard) and Lucille Saudino (Ron). Raymond was a hard worker and worked at the Timmins Daily Press, Kerr Addison Mine, McIntyre Mine, Kam Kotia Mine, Malette Waferboard and Kidd Creek Met site. He loved fishing, hunting and camping, his happy place was at his camp with his best friend late Rene Longpre. He will be sadly missed by many. The family would like to thank Dr. Paquette, Dr. Bouley, Dr. Karen Armstrong and all the nurses at the Timmins and District Hospital on the Medical B unit, for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home (Fr. Simon Drapeau officiating). A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
