Raymond Joseph Flynn of Clinton passed away July 15th, 2023, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 60. He survived by his mother Donelda Flynn, Sister Cheryl, His faithful feline companion Tabitha and his niece Lesa Lepera and her family Karlie (Brady), Damian (Giordana) and great-great nephew baby Theo.
He will also be greatly missed niece Stacey Warden (Nathan) and their family Alexis (Devin), Alex, Jack, Colton and Wyatt. Nephew Michael Flynn (Rebecca) and their family Calvin and Willow. Nephew Denny Seymour and his family Palao and Jackson, nephew Johnny Flynn. niece Chelsea Dawe (Cory) and their family Hadley and Ryan. Heather & Daniel Klanert and their family Lenna and Hunter. Ray will also be fondly remembered by many extended family members, friends and his race community.
Predeceased by his father John Flynn and brother Frank Flynn.
Ray had a long career with the MTO and spent the last 26 years of his career at the Goderich Salt Mine.
He had a lifetime love of racing and derby. With true skill and great passion for motor sports he was very successful in his racing career with Car #277.
Ray’s family would like to acknowledge the amazing care and kindness from Huron Hospice and Ray’s personal support team while he was at home.
A celebration of life will be held at the Clinton Legion August 13th, 2023, 1-4pm.
In leu of flowers donations to Huron Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
