It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randy Irvin Soley, on the 9th of November, 2024. Born September 12, 1959 in Hamilton, Ontario, son of Roy Soley and the late Betty Wilson.
Randy is survived by his loving wife Nadine Soley, daughters Nicole Courage (Tim Courage), Melissa Soley (Billy McFadden) and Brittany Soley (Josh Jackson). His five precious grandchildren, Callum, Finnley, Elly, Olen and Gracie whom they call papa. As well, he leaves behind his beloved sisters, Diane Abrams and Christine Soley, along with his brother in-law Lloyd Mahoney (Jean Mahoney). He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Randy was a strong man who earned his recent nickname of “tinman”. Randy is known for his sense of humor, especially his dad jokes. He was always giving advice, reminiscing about growing up on the farm raising goats, running races, computer programming and watching Star Wars and Star Trek with his family. If you were fortunate enough to try his homemade bread, butter tarts, peanut butter cookies or any of his masterpiece meals you were lucky.
Randy’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
