Pinkney, Donald Gordon
Peacefully with family by his side on March 14, 2023 at the Temiskaming Lodge after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Don Pinkney, age 83 years, beloved husband of Helen for 61 years. Loving father of his 4 children, Gordon (Mary-Lee), David (Pauline), Jane (Duane Regimbal), Lianne (Gavin Park) and his grandchildren Micheal, Camille and Karina. Dear brother of Bob.
Don was born in Toronto and moved to Temiskaming in 1970. He was an elementary school teacher for 36 years, and loved every minute of it. Don was a long-time member of the Cobalt Lion’s Club, an avid bowler and golfer, and always had a joke to tell you.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish at 11 am, Saturday, March 25 with visitation from 10 am to 11 am A luncheon will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
