Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the age of 93. Born in Verdun, Quebec, Pierrette was an organized and kind person who loved her years working at the CBC, RCA, and Spar Aerospace.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her son Martin LaBreche, grandson Yannick LaBreche, stepchildren Graeme Stewart, Sandra Dibblee, and Alan Stewart, grandchildren Melissa, Derek, Kevin, Stacey, Kahlib, Liam, Meghan, Amanda, Celia, Lorna, and her great-grandchildren Daniel, Wesley, and Kieran.
Pierrette was predeceased by her parents Ovilda and Bertha Bourgon, her beloved husbands Roland LaBreche and John Stewart, and her dear 11 brothers and sisters.
Special thanks to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home who especially supported our family during her palliative stage. They offered quiet comfort and compassion that exceeded our expectations.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, March 2nd at 10am. A livestream will be available to view on the funeral home’s website. Reception to follow.
