It is with profound sorrow that the Mailloux family announces the peaceful passing of Pierre Mailloux in his home, surrounded by loved ones after a brief courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63. Loving husband of Lou-Anne, an amazing father to his three children Jason (Tonya), Tammy(Tim) and Andrew(Diana). Fun loving grandfather of Tegan, Kaiden, Taylor and Jaxson. Beloved son of Andre Mailloux, cherished brother of Gilbert Mailloux(Suzette), Roger Mailloux(Pat), Lina Mailloux, Christine(Mark) Steep, Donald(Rosie) Mailloux, Lorraine Mailloux and Lisa(Raphael) Delli Quadri. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving mother Gabrielle Mailloux (2018) and his brother Garry Mailloux (2017)
Pierre was not a man of many words, but everything he said was full of meaning. He would always share any knowledge when asked a question – happily teaching his trade or a simple trick he picked up with anyone who asked, and sometimes they wouldn’t have to. He was intuitive. If you needed his help he would bring it, sometimes whether you wanted it or not. He was always there for family and friends in a time of need, putting others before himself throughout his life.
Known affectionately as Pete to close friends and family, his calm presence, kind soul and heart of gold will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 6, 2023 at noon at the LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am to noon. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
