It is with great sadness we announce the
passing of Phyllis Jean Meagher, age 68,
of Murray Corner, formerly of Dartmouth, NS. Phyllis passed away
unexpectedly at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, July 10,
2023.
Born in Sackville, NB, she was a
daughter of the late Norman and Mildred (Tower)
Stright.
Phyllis would never be found without
Stan and her timmies coffee. She was our go to for recipes, a cabbage
roll queen and she loved to brag about her kids and
grandkids.
Phyllis will be dearly missed by her
loving husband Stanley, Murray Corner, NB; children Shelley (Jason)
Rafuse, Lawrencetown, NS, Cory Gilhen, Enfield, NS, Shawn (Valerie)
Gilhen, Hay River, NWT, Michael Gilhen, Eastern Passage, NS, Stephanie
Gilhen, Lake Echo, NS, and Natalie (Rodney) Killeen, Lake Echo, NS;
grandchildren Brittany, Aimee, John, Augustus, Isabel, Mikala, and
Ryleigh-Ann; several great grandchildren; sisters Helen and Elizabeth;
brothers Brayden, Starr and Peter.
She was predeceased by sisters Violet
and Ada; brothers Frederick, Shane and Glenn.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of the Jones Funeral Home,
Port Elgin and Sackville, NB, (506-364-1300). A graveside
service will be held at the Bayfield Cemetery on Saturday, July 22,
2023 at 2 pm, all are invited.
For those wishing to do so, donations
may be directed to the Bayfield Cemetery, or the charity of your
choice.
