Obituary of Phillip Desmond Snooks
Peacefully passed away at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) on Monday, December 16, 2024. Husband and soulmate of Susan Ralph. Cherished father of Lonnie Conway and Matthew Alloy. Proud Papa of Adilynne Alloy. Brother of the late George, Barbara (late Wayne), Margaret (late Homer), Carol (William), late Robert and Doreen. Brother-in-law of Peggy (late Richard) and Ed (Susan). “The Unc” of Todd, Morgan (Andrew), Jordan (Natosha), Kailan, Reilley (Amanda), Suzanne, Cristel, late Allyson, Leigh, Geoffrey and Chloe (Luke). Fun loving Great Uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Desmond will be fondly remembered and missed by his dear friends Janice, Paul and so many more.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Tracey’s Dream would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
Cancer has won. Just a quick note to all who put up with my foolishness and accepted me as who I was. English humour is not that humourous all the time, but it was in me, and I had to share it eh…Susan and I shared many a good time and Sue never stopped pleasing me…She bought a Cadillac of a pontoon boat just knowing I would be a proud Captain cruising around Upper Island Lake. And for family, we are strong and carry on with hope in our Hearts ONE DAY AT A TIME. Bottom line…It’s been a blast, and nobody got hurt.
