Peter William Coady, a dedicated husband, father, grandad, brother (survived by Michael and Josie) and friend to all,
passed away surrounded by close family members at Milton District Hospital on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023.
Peter was born on May 8, 1942 in Wythenshire, Manchester, England.
He was the youngest boy of 10 children and doted on by his older sisters.
He then met the love of his life, Anne Coady, and they were married on September 5, 1967.
Peter, Anne, and their 3 boys, Eugene, Damian, and Benjamin immigrated to Canada in 1975, and quickly called Milton home.
Once settled, they completed their family with a beautiful daughter Siobhan.
Peter worked as a Lithographer for over 30 years.
After leaving Lithography, he supported Anne’s dream to move back to England and run a Nursing Home in Birkenhead, England for 9 years.
Peter and Anne then moved back to Canada in 2004 and dedicated their retirement to their children and grandchildren.
He also devoted his time to volunteering with Holy Rosary Parish in many different facets.
Peter also enjoyed being on the golf course with his close friends.
The Coady family would like to thank all the dedicated staff at the Milton District Hospital for support they have provided over the last 9 months.
To celebrate Peter’s life there will be a visitation at McKersie & Early Funeral Home on Friday, May 5th, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm.
The Funeral Mass is to be held at Holy Rosary Parish on May 6th, 2023 at 11:00am with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
In Lieu of flowers, it will be appreciated by the family to please donate to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario.
