ELSIPOGTOG, NB – Paul Richard Simon, 59, of
Elsipogtog passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, March
19th, 2023. Born in Rexton, he was the son of
Margaret (Levi) Simon of Elsipogtog and of the late George Richard
Simon.
Besides his mother, Margaret, Paul leaves to mourn his two
sons, JP Simon (Rebecca) of Halifax, NS and Cody Clair (Manuela) of
Elsipogtog; his six grandchildren and his special friend, Marianne
Augustine.
Paul will also be sadly missed by his five sisters, Candi
Simon, Cheryl Simon, Sadie Simon, Gina Simon and Loretta Simon, all of
Elsipogtog; his six brothers, Jeffrey Simon (Rena), Floyd Simon (late
Eileen), Gary Simon (Angel), Josh Simon and Skyler Simon (Haley), all
of Elsipogtog; his brother-in-law, Clifton Simon of Elsipogtog; as
well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, George, Paul was predeceased by his
sister, Mary Phyllis Simon.
Visitation will be held at 266 Main Street, Elsipogtog
beginning Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at 2:00 pm
until departure for the funeral. The funeral mass will be celebrated
on Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 10:30 am, Ste.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog with interment to
follow the service in the parish cemetery.
