Paul Lawrence Lahey passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on February 24, 2024 after a long battle with his health surrounded by his loving family & friends. Paul Lahey of Black Head, North Shore, formerly of Mississauga, Ontario.
Paul is survived by his parents Wallace & Della Lahey of Black Head, North Shore and his beloved golden retriever, Jasper. As well as a large number of Aunts, Uncles, extended family, and friends.
Paul was the kindest, most caring son, who loved all kinds of activities and who loved life and enjoyed it so much.
Paul’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rick Hatt (Jeannie O’Shea), John Kelloway (Joanne O’Shea), Dot (Kevin) Cousins, Pad (Betty) Murphy, Amanda Murphy, Sam Murphy, Aiden Murphy, & Lawrence Murphy who have all helped their family in their time of need. The kindness they have shown will never be forgotten.
Paul’s family would also like to thank the staff who cared for him during his time receiving dialysis, as well as the staff of the 4th floor, South A of the Health Sciences Centre for their tremendous care and compassion shown to both Paul and his family.
A celebration of life for Paul will take place at a later date.
