PAUL “MUSKY” HAYNES
Paul “Musky” Haynes, 65, of Dublin passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
He was the beloved husband of Sandra Haynes. He will be deeply missed by his son Nick (Alexis). He was a wonderful grandpa to Anya, Jeremy and Shelby (Sam). Dear brother of Bill Haynes (Beverly) and Ruth Thomson (Brian). Brother-in-law to Sharon Haynes, Mary Haynes, Cheryl McGrath, Donna Beuerman (Neil) and Ken McGrath (Waneeta). Also surviving are his nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Helen Haynes, father-in-law and mother-in-law Pat and Ruth, brothers Gery and Glenn, sister-in-law Barb and brother-in-law Tom.
Paul’s passion was working with wood. He made many things for friends and family. When his health started to decline, he took up jigsaw puzzles. Upon completing the puzzles, he would then frame them. He also took an interest in epoxy projects. He made many charcuterie boards as well as tables and trays. He was a die hard fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.
In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family arrangements entrusted to the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
