Paul Allison Price
– age 80, of Kentville, formerly of Port Williams, passed
away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Orchard
Court-Shannex, Kentville. Born in Port Williams, he was a son of the
late Edward and Sarah (Barkhouse) Price.
Prior to retirement,
Paul worked for Imperial Oil, Mackenzie Service Station, the Town of
Kentville and the Village of New Minas. He served as a member of the
Port Williams Volunteer Fire Department for six years from 1975 to
1981.
In addition to his
parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Frank (Cedora) Price;
and sisters, Roelene (Ronald) Keddy, Thelma (Foster) Bennett and
Elaine Price. He is survived by two sons, several grandchildren and
many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation by request. The funeral service
will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville. The Reverend Maya Bevan officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John’s Anglican Church
Cemetery, Church Street, Port Williams. Donations in memory may be
made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have
been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
