It is with heavy hearts the family of Patrick Michael Lively announces his passing on September
1, 2024 in his 69th year.
Beloved husband of Carolyn Lively, father of Jason Lively, Stacey Lively (Don Spragg), Lance and Nellie Lively, Nicholas Lively (Tina Roukema), Sarah and Adam Prouse. Proud grandfather of Cole (Alyssa), Vanessa, Nolan (Mackenna), Ava, Emma, Abagail, Owen, Claire, Benjamin, Dominic, Timothy, Jack. With 2 great grandchildren, Kingston and Piper. Predeceased by his step father Mitchell Perry and mother Lily(Dakin-Lively) and father John Lively. Survived by his brothers Tom and Ron, many nieces and nephews.
Patrick was very proud of his family and really enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren.
Patrick started life at a farm North of Woodstock in where he learned the value of hard work.
However, that was cut short after the passing of his father in 1967. They moved from there to
the City of Woodstock graduating CASS in 1973. Patrick worked many jobs early on to help
with his mom. He started at Fisher Controls when he was 17 years old working as a CNC
operator until it closed and continued his working journey as a welder at IMT (Ingersoll Machine
and Tool). Pat never really seemed to complain about work as he always came home with a
story about the day and the camaraderie he had experienced with his fellow workers and
friends.
Pat was very proud of his involvement in the community through Scouting as a Leader and
District Commissioner. He was always willing to help anyone and thoroughly enjoyed his friends
dropping by, as well as his many hobbies which included woodworking.
A special thank you to Dr. Brock Tompkins, Dr. Jitin Sondhi, nursing staff at St. Elizabeth and all
medical professionals at Alexandra Hospital and the Victoria CCTC Bay 3 in London.
