With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Patricia Yvonne Marie LeBlanc at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on November 21, 2024. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick on May 15, 1956.
She is lovingly remembered by her son Christopher Lee (Tasha), her daughter Michelle Lee, cherished Memère of Ethan Gowan (Angela), Mel Melanson (Benji) and Tatienne Bleus. Dear sister of Rose Patterson, Ernest Jr. LeBlanc (Donna), Joseph Leblanc (Angela), Bernard LeBlanc (Beth), Louise LeBlanc. Pets Buster and Blair. Extended family and friends. She is now reunited with her mother and father, Lucille and Ernest LeBlanc, her sister Jeanne McLaughlin and nephew Curtis Leblanc.
She was very proud of her career as an Executive Assistant at the Saint John Port Authority and St. Matthew’s House in Hamilton, Ontario. She was also dedicated to volunteering at many different charities, including MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) and St. Patrick’s Church De Mazenod Doors Outreach Program. She also loved spending quality time with her nephew Peter taking him for long drives that he loved.
Over the years, Patricia enjoyed spending time with family, long walks, swimming, bingo, crocheting and knitting and loved going on adventures. She always said, “I’m just along for the ride”.
She was a selfless and kind-hearted woman with a huge heart and a pure soul. Always caring for everyone she loved. She was the best mother, Memère, and friend that anyone could ask for. She was the bright, guiding light in all of our lives, and now our guardian angel. Her family was her biggest priority and her mission in life was to help others. She was always there to put a smile on the faces of those she loved by being her fun, silly self and giving her warm hugs. Her kindness and joyous spirit will be deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to know her.
Mom/Memère/Momsey, know that you will forever be missed, our hearts will hold tightly onto the incredible memories that we created together. We promise to make you proud and carry on your memory in all that we do.
We would like to thank the intensive care unit and surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital who did everything they could to take care of her and our family during this extremely challenging time.
In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest in Shemogue, New Brunswick in the spring of 2025 where she will be reunited with her parents, whom she cherished and loved.
To all those whom Patricia loved and cared for, she would say “You got this”.
