Surrounded by her loving children she has found peace. Beloved wife to Edward (2018) and cherished mother to Monica Burns (Dave), Michael Bate (Sheri), Mathew Lafontaine (Kristin), & Chris Lafontaine. Treasured grandma to beautiful grandchildren Hudson, Finn, Taylor, Keaton, Sarah, Gracie, Katie, and Andrew and great-grandmother to many. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Ruth Bunning and her brother Richard. Lynne will be sadly missed and was loved by many friends, family, and co-workers. Lynne was a retired employee of Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital after over 20 years dedication and was an active volunteer for the Kingsville Food Bank. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and physicians that provided her the compassionate care she received while at the Palliative Care unit. A sincere thank you to the T2B Foundation for their support and kindness they showed. If you desire, donations to the Kingsville Community Food Bank and Transition to Betterness Foundation in her memory would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Families First South Windsor, 3260 Dougal Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Visitation will continue the next day from 10 a.m. until the time of Lynne’s celebration of life service at 11 a.m. in the Families First Chapel.
